Pregnancy Due Date > Cotton pantiliners

After the birth of your baby, there will be vaginal secretions which make pantiliners a must. This secretion contains blood and mucous and other completely normal excretion while the uterus starts the repair process. This repair process includes the closing off of blood vessels which were open to provide the placenta with a blood bath through which nutrients and gaseous exchange (oxygen to baby, carbon dioxide away from baby) occurs. The uterus has obviously been through a lot in the previous 9 months, so it does take some time. Disposable pantiliners can protect you underwear and cut down on washing.

If you are preparing your maternity bag to take to the hospital, make sure you include some Cotton pantiliners. You'll need them.

See our list of Cotton pantiliners, the nest you could possibly find on the net.
