Getting Pregnant > Fertility calendar

A fertility calendar is almost the same as an ovulation calendar. See ovulation calendar page.

A fertility calendar will tell when the fertile days of the month are for a woman. To use a fertility calendar, you need to calculate the length of your period. Calculating the length of a cycle requires that you keep notes of when your period starts. Mark on your calendar when the period starts for at least 6 month. Using this infomation, calculate how many days there are between the start of each period, from the first day of the period until the first day of the next one.

If the period is 30 days long, the fertility calendar will say that about the day 15 will be the most fertile day of the month.

To make sure the fertility calendar is effective the woman should also take some ovulation tests about 5 days before the ovulation starts. This is the effective way to make sure the fertility calendar is totally spot on.
