There are a lot of symptons of pregnancy which indicate the miracle happening in the female body.
Of course, the clearest symptom amongst the symptons of pregnancy is the non-appearance of the monthly period. As the progesterone level does not decrease after the egg cell has been fertilized, the uterus membrane is not reduced which results in the non-appearance of the period.
Nausea is also one of the most common symptons of pregnancy which can take various forms. Some women only feel sick in the morning, others do have the symptoms during the whole day or various parts of the day. Some women also feel so sick that they have to throw up various times during the day.
Apart from the above mentioned symptons of pregnancy, a lot of women notice that their breasts already start growing in early pregnancy and feel very sore. This is because the mammary glands already start to grow due to the hormone production.
A lot of women also experience extreme tiredness at the beginning of the pregnancy. Therefore, tiredness can also be counted as one of the symptons of pregnancy, but of course, tiredness can also have many other reasons.
Another indicator for pregnancy can be dragging pains in the inguinal region due to the stretching and growing of the ligaments which hold the uterus.
And of course, mood swings and an enormous appetite are further symptons of pregnancy. Like in the female cycle, mood swings in pregnancy can be caused by changes in the hormone balance. A ravenous appetite or a complete aversion against some food is a very common pregnancy sympton as well. Some women especially fancy sour food which might be due to the higher acid content of the saliva during pregnancy.
