Before taking any prenatal vitamins make sure they are OK by going and asking your doctor.

Make sure your doctor knows everything that you are taking and which kind of prenatal vitamins.

Remember that some vitamins are not benefitial for the baby, for example the vitamin E contained in liver and pates can be dangerous in high concentrations.
